Living & playing across national borders:
FIFA regulations allow junior/youth players to play across national borders (England & Wales). No international clearance is required for children of primary school age who live within 50km of the club, International clearance is needed for children 12 years old or more, living in England within 50Km of the club and who were not previously registered with the club.
Playing for an Academy:
Playing for an Academy:
FIFA regualtions do not allow youth players (U12 ages up) to play for more than one club. They cannot play for a football academy in a competitive league as well as play for junior/youth club in another competitive league. This includes U12+ players who have been signed up for Bristol City, Bristol Rovers, Cardiff City and Newport County academies.
